Sally MacGowan
Sally has completed the VIYETT Diploma of Yoga Teaching Course, whilst working full-time in Funding and Development at a Melbourne charity.
Drawn by the warmth, openness and subtlety of Yoga, Sally began practicing ten years ago to help manage the stresses of daily work. She hasn't looked back since. Sally' has been inspired by her former Yoga teachers, on-going studies and fellow students, who helped her to deepen her understanding of ‘Self' and open her heart to others.
With a background in dance and performing arts, Sally enjoys bringing breath synchronised movement (Vinyasa) into her classes to flow through Yoga sequences smoothly and energetically, whilst incorporating Bandha and Pranayama to deepen the practice. Sally's methods bring a fresh approach to Yogasana and Vinyasa styles of Yoga.
Sally believes that through the practice of Yoga, each of us can develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and of others, and awaken our individual capacity to love and share joy with all those around us.
